Two Males Arrested in Stolen Car By Local Officers in Atherstone

Today, Wednesday 15th August, 2018, Warwickshire Police received a call from concerned members of the public in Atherstone concerning two males in a Silver VW Golf acting suspiciously in the area. Officers from Atherstone Safer Neighbourhood Team attended Owen Court and located the vehicle with two males asleep inside the VW Golf. Enquires found the vehicle had been stolen over the weekend from Friary Road, Atherstone. Both males were arrested at the scene for theft of motor vehicle and enquires are on going.
