Appeal For Witnesses to Robbery in Polesworth

Officers investigating a robbery in Polesworth are appealing for anyone who was in the area to come forward.

At around 2.45pm on Sunday, 28 June a teenage girl was walking through ‘the second field’ in Polesworth Park when she was approached by a group of around 10 females.

One of the group is believed to have assaulted the girl and grabbed her handbag from her, stealing a number of items from the bag including her bank card.

The victim, a girl in her late teens, suffered minor injuries and was left shaken following the incident.

The suspects are described as in their late teens, and were believed to be wearing black hoodies and black leggings.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist with enquiries is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 208 of 28 June.
