Stolen Caravans and Vehicle Recovered by Rural Crime Team

Last week PC Kate Taylor and PC Jenny May-Royle from the Rural Crime Team, with SC Harry Smith received information that there were a number of stolen caravans and a stolen van at an address within the Rugby area.

Acting on this information they quickly located two stolen caravans using the caravan registration scheme via NCC CRiS. The two caravans that were identified as stolen were from Leicestershire and West Mercia Police areas. They also located a stolen Ford Transit Van, which had been stolen the day before again from Leicestershire Police area. All three items were recovered and their rightful owners informed that we had found them. Investigations are ongoing with both cross-border Police Forces.
