Stolen Dog Reunited with Owner

Officers from Rugby Safer Neighbourhood Team were delighted to reunite Blossom, a stolen Cockapoo puppy, with her owners at Rugby police station yesterday (6 May 2021).

Responding to a report of a dog in the road, officers from Rugby Safer Neighbourhood Team recovered a puppy near Ryton Pools, Bubbenhall. The puppy was taken to the vet where she was identified by her microchip as Blossom.

Blossom had been missing since Saturday afternoon. She was stolen from a van parked outside the Spar supermarket in Lutterworth Road, Nuneaton, whilst her owner popped inside to do some shopping.

Officers are keen to talk with the driver of a light coloured BMW car that was seen outside the shop at the time of the incident.
