Please Be Aware of Horses. Livestock and Pets if Letting Off Fireworks

Please be a considerate neighbour if letting off fireworks.

If you are near fields or buildings with livestock or horses in please let the owners know so that they can take action to try and reduce the distress to the animals.  Every year animals are frightened and some injured due to fireworks being let off close to where they are kept.

If possible please let them off away from the animals or consider the new silent fireworks.

Also point them in the direction away from these fields/outbuildings as the debris from fireworks can also cause problems.

If you are having a bonfire please check for wildlife that may have taken shelter in it, including small mammals such as hedgehogs.
