Male Charged Following Incident in Atherstone

A man has been charged with assaulting emergency workers after an officer was allegedly spat at when he responded to an incident in Long Street, Atherstone on Saturday afternoon.

Another officer reported the suspect attempted to headbutt her. The man was also charged with being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
