Warwickshire Police Have Made Five Arrests Following a Fatality in Exhall Today

Warwickshire Police has made five arrests following a fatality in Exhall today (20th May).
The arrests have been made in connection with a disturbance in Treviscoe Close, Exhall, that occurred at around 8.45am this morning. Upon arrival, West Midlands Ambulance Service paramedics administered emergency life support to a 72-year-old man but sadly, nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.
A second man and a woman were medically assessed and treated for minor injuries.
Warwickshire Police has arrested a 44-year-old man on suspected murder and four other people for their alleged part in the disturbance. This was a contained incident and presented no threat to the wider community.
Detective Chief Inspector Jon Belcher said “Next of kin has been informed and a full investigation is underway to establish the cause and circumstances that led to this loss of life.
At this time it is believed that all the people involved in the disturbance were known to each other. Exhall residents should not be concerned by the large police presence today as a full forensic examination of the area and house to house enquiries are made to establish the facts.”
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information, CCTV or video footage to phone 101 quoting incident number 0071.
