Important Team Members – Our Police Dogs and Their Handlers
Our dog handlers also form part of the Operation Patrol Unit (OPU), they provide dog support to local policing teams, roads policing and firearms teams across the county with a range of skills
On duty last night was Police Dog Delta a firearms support dog and Police Dog Bliss a drugs, firearms, ammunition & cash search dog.
They are handled by PC Phillips who is far less photogenic than his dogs which is why they are only shown in the photos below
