Van Seized By Local Officers in Atherstone

On Thursday 7th June, officers from the local Police Safer Neighbourhood Team saw  a white Peugeot Partner van acting suspiciously in Convert Lane and Church Road Atherstone, whilst on patrol.  The vehicle drove off and officers carried out an area search and located the vehicle in Owen Street when it drove into a cul de sac.  The driver was spoken to and it was found the vehicle had no documents.   The van was seized at the location and the driver has been reported for a number of offences.

On Saturday 9th June officers stopped a BMW mini Countryman after reports that the female was driving with no insurance in the Atherstone area , the female admitted straight away she was not insured to drive the mini and as a result has been reported for this offence.
