Two Men Charged with Going Equipped After Their Truck is Stopped on the A45

Two men have been charged with going equipped for theft after officers from the Roads Policing Unit stopped their truck on the A45 at the junction with the M42 in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday 10 June).

The officers seized siphons and a pump.

Anthony Thompson, 29, of Ferrers Road, Tamworth and Miles Duffy, 24, of Hermitage Lane, Polesworth will both appear at Warwickshire Magistrates’ Court on 24 July 2020.

Duffy was also charged with driving without insurance, fraudulently using a registration mark or registration document, and using a motor vehicle that may cause danger of injury.
