‘Chop Shop’ Located near Hartshill
Yesterday in Hartshill officers from the Atherstone local policing team, in company with the Rural Crime Team and Police Vehicle Examiners conducted a warrant at a rural yard.
Officers found a “chop shop” at the location and recovered numerous suspected stolen car parts including suspected stolen catalytic converters.
One person was arrested at the scene but officers will be locating other suspected offenders connected to the site.
