Met Someone on Line? They May Not Be Who You Think They Are

Online dating & chatting to people you haven’t met via social media sites online.
Some questions to ask yourself.
Rule 1- Is there a genuine person behind this profile? Are they for real? Did they contact you? And why You? Check out the profile picture they are using, is it a false profile? Are they using someone’s pictures and information without their permission?
Rule 2 – Never send them money or arrange to meet to exchange gifts or money from a story they tell you. Never send money in return for cheap gifts they might send you.
Rule 3 – Never allow them to access your bank account.
Criminals will do their research and build your trust over time no matter how long, even if its using kind and affectionate words to make you believe they are loving trusting people they will mould themselves into your perfect match. If they are telling you to keep the relationship private from your friends and family they might not be who they say they are.
If you suspect you are speaking online to a fraudster report immediately to the police and action fraud.
